May 19, · In my experience, fopen fails if the file has been opened with write permissions (presumably for this very reason). Although in append mode it might be different (I never use append).
The following code (above link) deletes the original file by name and creates a file. However, the file will have a different name each time, so "elleandrblog.com" will be a variable not a constant.
